What is Science Olympiad?

Twenty-three events. One team.

Science Olympiad is a nationwide competition where teams of 15 students represent their school throughout the year to build, study, and experiment. Invitational competitions lead into regional, state, and national tournaments near the end of the season.

Each event requires 2-3 students to represent the entire team. Events cover physics, chemistry, biology, earth science, and engineering, including events where students design and test a device.
